Refund Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

14-day money-back guarantee

You can request a full refund of any ReceiptMe subscription charge within 14 calendar days of the charge date. This applies to your initial purchase and to each renewal charge. No questions asked, no forms to fill out.

How to request a refund

Open the ReceiptMe extension, go to the License panel, and click "Request refund." Your refund is processed immediately and your subscription is cancelled. Outside the 14-day window the button is disabled; contact support@receiptme.ai if you believe there's been an error.

What's refunded

The full amount you paid for the most recent billing period, in the original currency, to the original payment method. Taxes (including EU/UK VAT) are refunded proportionally by our merchant of record, LemonSqueezy. If you purchased at a promotional price, the refund equals what you actually paid, not the list price. We do not issue store credit or partial/prorated refunds.

Processing time

Refunds are processed by LemonSqueezy immediately. It typically takes 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer or payment method. We have no control over this timing.

After a refund

Your subscription ends and your ReceiptMe tier reverts to Free on the extension's next license check (within 24 hours). Any receipts you've already scanned remain on your device — the extension stores data locally.

License-key customers

If you activated ReceiptMe with a license key instead of an email subscription, the same 14-day policy applies. Use the License panel's "Request refund" button the same way.

Chargebacks

If you're unsatisfied, please use the in-extension refund button or contact us first — we'll take care of it. Initiating a chargeback with your bank without first requesting a refund may result in loss of access to ReceiptMe and ineligibility for future purchases.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights under EU and UK consumer law. The 14-day window described above is offered in addition to any cooling-off or statutory refund rights you may have.

Merchant of record

ReceiptMe subscriptions are sold and billed by LemonSqueezy, which handles payment, tax, and refund processing. You may see "LemonSqueezy" on your statement rather than "ReceiptMe."
